【摘要】:Theelectricalpropertiesofresin-coatedglassfabricsareaffectedbytheirtemperatureandmoisturecontent.Forthisreasonitisnecessarytocontrolthesepropertiesforaspecifiedtimeimmediatelypriortotestinginordertoattainreasonablygoodreproducibilityoftestvalues.Thetimeofexposuretotheconditioningatmospheremustbelongenoughtopermitthetestspecimentoreacharelativelystablevalue.Usuallythemoisturecontentofthesematerialshaslittleeffectonthemechanicalproperties.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverproceduresforthetestingofresin-coatedglassfabricsandglassfabrictapes(Note1)tobeusedaselectricalinsulation.Note1-MethodsoftestingvarnishedclothsandtapesaregiveninMethodsD295.1.2Thewarpthreadsinfabricsarethethreadsthatareparallelwiththelengthdimensionasmanufactured.1.3Theproceduresappearasfollows:1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Specificwarningstatementaregivenin35.1.1and58.1.
