【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisintendedtoprovideacyclictestmethodasabasisforthederivationofparameterswhicharerequiredinseismicdesignoftimberstructures.Themethodincludesprocedurestodeveloptheenvelopecurves(backboneorskeletoncurves;anexampleisgiveninClauseA.5.)forjointssubjectedtoacyclicdisplacementschedulewhichproducesrepresentativedemandsimposedonthejointsbyearthquakes.Itdoesnotincludecriteriaforparameterswhichare,attimes,stipulatedinnationalstandardsorbuildingcodes.Thisstandardisintendedforjointssubjectedtolateralloadansisnotapplicabletojointssubjectedtowithdrawalforces.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletojointsmadewithmechanicalfastenersusedintimberstructuresloadedunderseismicaction.NOTE1InthecontextofthisStandard,theterm"joint"means"connection"inpresent-dayNorth-AmericanEnglish.NOTE2Itisrecognizedthat,forsomespecialtypesofjoints,modificationofthetestmethodmaybenecessaryprovidedthetestobjectivesinthisclauseandtheprinciplesinClause6areachieved.SeeClauseA.2fordetails.
