【摘要】:Theobjectiveofthispracticeistoobtainrepresentativesamplesofthesteamandliquidphasesastheyexistinthepipelineatthesamplepoint,withoutallowingsteamcondensationoradditionalliquidflashingintheseparator.Asignificantfeatureofthepracticeistheuseofacyclone-typeseparatorforhigh-efficiencyphaseseparationwhichisoperatedatflowrateshighenoughtopreventsignificantheatlosswhilemaintaininganinternalpressureessentiallythesameasthepipelinepressure.Anothersignificantfeatureofthepracticeistolocatethesamplingseparatoratapointonthepipelinewherethetwo-phaseflowisatleastpartiallystratifiedtoaidintheseparationprocess.Itisneithernecessarynorpossibletopassrepresentativeproportionsofeachphasethroughthesamplingseparatortoobtainrepresentativesamples.Theseparatorisusuallyattachedtoanappropriatelyorientedporttocollecteachspecificphasex2014;normallyontopofthelineforsteamandatthebottomforliquid.Insomecases,pipingconfigurationscangenerateunusualflowregimeswherethereverseisrequired.Iftheratioofonephasetoanotherisnotextreme,representativesamplesofeachphasecanoftenbeobtainedfromahorizontalportonthesideofthepipeline.Thispracticeisusedwheneverliquidorsteamsamples,orboth,mustbecollectedfromatwo-phasedischargeforchemicalanalysis.Thistypicallyincludesinitialwell-testingoperationswhenawellisdischargedtotheatmosphereorroutinewellproductionwhenawelldischargestoafluidgatheringsystemandpowerplant.Thecombinedtwo-phaseflowofseveralwellsproducingthroughacommongatheringsystemmayalsobesampledinaccordancewiththispractice.Thispracticeisnottypicallyemployedwhenindividualwellsproducetodedicatedproductionseparators.Inthesecases,theseparatedsteamandliquidattheoutletoftheproductionseparatorissampledinaccordancewithsingle-phasesamplingmethods(SpecificationE947).1.1Thepurposeofthispracticeistoobtainrepresentativesamplesofliquidandsteamastheyexistinapipelinetransportingtwo-phasegeothermalfluids.1.1.1Theliquidandsteamsamplesarecollectedandproperlypreservedforsubsequentchemicalanalysisinthefieldoranoff-siteanalyticallaboratory.1.1.2Thechemicalcompositiondatageneratedfromtheanalysisofliquidandsteamsamplesmaybeusedformanyapplicationsimportanttogeothermalenergyexploration,development,andthelong-termmanagedexploitationofgeothermalresources.Theseapplicationsinclude,butarenotlimitedto,resourceevaluationssuchasdeterminingreservoirtemperatureandtheoriginofreservoirfluids,compatibilityofproducedfluidswithproduction,powergenerationandreinjectionhardwareexposedtothefluids(corrosivityandscaledepositionpotential),long-termreservoirmonitoringduringfieldexploitation,andenvironmentalimpactevaluationsincludingemissionstesting.1.1.2.1Tofullyutilizethechemicalcompositiondataintheapplicationsstatedin1.1.2,specificphysicaldatarelatedtothetwo-phasedischarge,wellbore,andgeothermalreservoirmayberequired.Mathematicalreconstructionofthefluidchemistry(liquidandsteam)toreservoirconditionsisaprimaryrequirementinmanyapplications.Ataminimum,thisrequirespreciseknowledgeofthetotalfluidenthalpyandpressureortemperatureatthesamplepoint.Fluidreconstructionandcomputationstoconditionsdifferentfromthesamplecollectionpointarebeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.2Thispracticeislimitedtothecollectionofsamplesfromtwo-phaseflowstreamsatpressuresgreaterthan70kPagauge(10psig)andhavingavolumetricvaporfractionofatleast20%.......
